Twotter

Tech Stack:
Laravel Laravel Breeze

What started as a learning project to master Laravel eventually evolved into a fully functional social media platform. Twotter, a playful parody of X (formerly Twitter), began with basic features: creating profiles, posting updates, and leaving comments.

After the initial concept proved successful and engaging, I decided to expand the platform with additional features that mirror a real social media experience. These enhancements included profile search functionality, extended profile customization, retweets, post bookmarking, likes, and sharing capabilities.

The authentication and user management were implemented using Laravel Breeze, providing a solid foundation for secure user registration, login, and session management. This allowed me to focus on building unique features while leveraging proven authentication patterns.

To prepare the application for live deployment, I added essential legal documentation including Terms of Service. This clearly communicates that the project is intended solely as a learning exercise and educational demonstration, not as a commercial social media platform.
