DWGS

DWGS is a smart, automatic irrigation system designed to provide plants with water efficiently and sustainably. Using an ESP32 microcontroller and moisture sensors, the system continuously measures the soil moisture of each plant.

When the soil becomes too dry, the system automatically activates a water pump to deliver exactly the right amount of water. This intelligent approach prevents both dehydration and overwatering, ensuring optimal plant health.

The system can be connected to a mobile app where users can view real-time sensor data and adjust the desired watering settings for each plant. DWGS can operate on sustainable energy sources such as solar power, making it environmentally friendly and cost-saving.

By using water and technology intelligently, DWGS contributes to sustainable water use (SDG 6) and the protection of plants and ecosystems (SDG 15).

Alongside the product itself, a webshop was also developed, making it possible for customers to purchase the DWGS irrigation system directly online.
